sectioning off a large part of my basement as an area for the Russians, using cinderblocks. my only concern is in the summer, the basement gets chillier. of course I'd have basking spots set up, and i could get a small heater for down there. I don't have issues with the basement flooding or anything. do you think it'd work out???? or would the cool air be too hard to manage?

I have been talking about wanting to do the same thing in my basement. I think if you have basking areas and keep the ambient temps from dropping too much it would be a huge and potentially amazing enclosure. I keep my house pretty warm and my basement temps stay the most steady in my house. Good luck with the decision!!:D
