Hi, I'm New here!
I'm thinking about building a new enclosure for my Chelonoidis carbonaria. he currently resides in 50 gallon tub. I feel like I need to expand fast as his current home is just too small now. My room is small but I finally found a creative way to provide his new habitat needs.
here the diagram of the floor plan space shown below:

Will this size be generous for him? It also a TV stand/shelf as well.

and right now he is 4" right now.

I think that is awesome....kinda fun and will give him a sense of adventure with the turn and all.... hang tight and I am sure others with more direct experience will give their insight :D

Hi Turtle Sailor:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

May we know your name and where you are?

That's a good looking plan for a habitat. Here are some helpful hints:

Line it with plastic to make it water-proof.
Add some plants either real or artificial. This will provide the needed humidity.
Plan for a couple different hiding places.
Cover or partially cover it to keep the heat and moisture in.

Take a look through our enclosure section. TerryO has some awesome RF habitats.
