With only one tort asleep in my house, I realized I'd miss him greatly if I didn't have a few activities to keep myself busy in the meantime. Here are some fun things to do to help you keep your sanity and stop constantly checking that your little one is OK!

- See if your local library offers a free course that interests you.
- Check out a group on Meetup.com.
- Finally tackle that low-priority project at work you've been putting off for so long.
- Organize or clean your home.
- Relax in a warm, soothing bubble bath.
- Give yoga a whirl if you've never tried it before.
- Get a massage with that leftover Xmas cash.
- Get to work on those taxes.
- Spend some time outdoors (if it's not too cold).
- Try a new sport, or join a gym and get some exercise.
- Get crafty with scrapbooking, origami, knitting, cooking, etc.
- Learn a new (or a first) musical instrument.
- Volunteer or tutor (check out VolunteerMatch.org).
- Cross something off your bucket list (if you have one).
