Hey everybody my name is Rylee,
I have a baby sulcata tortoise named pablo. he's really cute and loves clovers. Right now he's having a little bit of itchy eyes, I have his check up with the vet scheduled for friday, but if there's anything i can do to help him (and save me the cost) it would be great if someone could tell me. thankyou!

Hello Rylee and welcome to the forum...

Forgot to mention that you can use Terramycin Opthalmic Ointment for the eyes, but knowing more about your set up will help.

Hi Rylee:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

Yes, I can see from the picture that his eyes are irritated. If you're using one of those coil-type fluorescent bulbs, turn it off immediately!!!!

If not the light, then maybe his substrate is too dry. We have recently learned that baby tortoises need more humidity in their environment. What kind of substrate are you using?
