HELP

So i bought Atlas (named him after the greek titan coursed to hold up the heavens) my greek tortoise from pet smart about 2 weeks ago poor little guy was infested with worms in the middle of deworming process currently but i have noticed since i have had him that he will some times jerk his head to the side rapidly when i was scratching his neck to be able to syringe feed him or when we were at vet while holding him while the assistant was doing something he started doing it asked the assistant about it she said she didnt know she went to go ask the doctor and she said the doctor said it might mean hes mad does any one have any idea why he does this or what it might mean ???

No, but my tortoise has been sick and is doing a simular thing and it is worrying me...

Are you usually holding him up in the air when this happens? He just might be trying to get away. Tortoises really don't like to be up in the air with no support under them.

What would you like us to call you?

...and may we know appx. where in the world you are?
