Sorry about the bad quality, I got a cheapo webcam and it's really dark in my room, which is why he's on my laptop, best lighting I had at the moment.

some shell action... I think he's pretty smooth.

I'm not really sure how bumpy babies generally are, but that slight lumpyness was there when I got him, his new growth seems fine, haven't had him very long though...since...let me look... July 13th. Looks to me basically like a ridge around his original hatchling scutes. Normal?

Look at a world map! There are some neat names on there! I named my dog Java once because if i remember correctly it was a small island and fit his coloring.

Actually, I had him outside yesterday, I had a blanket on the ground and was just enjoying some fresh air, Normally when he's out I keep him in his little enclosure, but since I was right there I just let him walk around. He wouldn't go any more than about 5 feet away then he'd turn his little tail and walk right back and into my hand just to "check in." It was awesome, I'm so used to snakes and other reptiles that, well, they aren't very loyal lol

I like Paul. Tortoise faces remind me of that awful alien movie I saw last March. His name was Paul.

I like the "sweet," "gentle," baby-type names so that when he gets to be BIG AND UGLY, and his name is something like "Fluffy," it makes people laugh.

I totally agree with Yvonne.. which is kind of why we went with Squirt for our Sulcata.. it's fitting now.. but in a few years it'll be funny and cute! :) What about Pee-Wee?

That's why I'm having such a hard time naming him, he's going to look so different as an adult.

Aww, I can't do that, I had a wonderful dog named Hank, and there can only be one. But thanks anyway

I can see it now, in a few years I'll have friends over and say, " I want you to meet Tiny," and a big sulcata comes lumbering over, they scream and run. Good thing I like my solitude. :p

I love the movie "up" so I'm all for Dug. :D
The only problem I'd have if "Dug" turns out to be female.
