That is cool. I am also surprised that they eat the peel too.

They look very happy :)

Some chimpanzees eat the peel. I tasted a bit after I saw them doing that and I didn't think it tasted good at all.

When I feed my K. erosa banana I peel them and throw the peelings into the redfoot table.. they come running!

WalkingRock never likes anything new to eat.... except when I introduced him to Mazuri about 3 years ago (Couldn't keep him out of the dogs crunchy food, so I HAD to find him some "crunchies").

Could I feed him banana peels? I'm sure the fruit itself is to high in sugar but if the peel is high in fiber and "probably?" sweet to his palette... I guess the real questions is "Will he eat banana peels?" and only he can answer that....
