Happy Holidays to everyone. I am new to the site and relatively new at being a tortoise mom. My Sulcata will be a year old in February and I love her. I keep her indoors for now and I am guessing the next few years in an enclosure in the family room so that everyone can see her and we can come to her aid if she needs help. I am currently feeding her Mazuri (but not much) and organic greens (spring variety). She also gets a piece of carrot, banana, apple and strawberry once in a while. I have planted prickly pear, aloe vera, geraniums, figs and grapes for her which she will have access to once she is big enough to put outside (again I am guessing another few years). Myrtle was in a glass enclosure but quickly out grew it so my husband made a nice wood enclosure for her and she seems to be happy. No more bumping her head into the glass.
