Hello! First post here, so let me know if I'm not doing this right. I'm getting a Russian tortoise today, and I wanted to know what should I do as soon as I get him home? Let him soak first, try to feed him, or just put him in the enclosure and let him do his own thing at first? Also, he's about 4.5 inches and 6-7 years old, getting him from a local rescue that's had him since he's hatched so he's been dewormed and healthy. Is it okay to soak him every day, or just every 2-3 days? Thanks!

Hello and welcome. You can give him a soak, then put him in his new enclosure with fresh food. I would mostly leave him be for several days to let him adjust. I would soak every other day for a week or 2, then 3X per week. Congrats!
