Cleaning a used enclosure

I purchased a used wooden enclosure because it was a great deal and I was assured it was in excellent condition. When I received it, I was saddened to see that it was not clean at all. What do you suggest using to clean and sanitize?

You can scrub it out with bleach water. Then allow it to sit in the sun for a few days for all the bleach to dissipate. Whatever you use, be sure to rinse well.

You can also scrub with salt or vinegar.

Once you have scrubbed and dried stick your head in for a good deep breath and make sure you can't smell any cleaning products.
