I'm 99.9% sure he's a russian, and that's what I've been calling him for my other posts. Sorry for the quality; he was moving for the first one and he was on his back for the other two and I had to flip him over. Also, can you guys tell how old he is?

We cannot tell the age òf a tortoise as they all grow at different rates. You have to know the hatch date.

Your tort looks like a Russian to me, but there are mlre e pert eyes than mine when it comes to ID :)

Probably wild caught and no way to tell the age.

Yvonne- trust me I don't support the fact that tortoises (or any animals) are stolen from the wild to be pets. So how do I mimic the conditions of his wild home in the greenhouse?
Also how can you tell if he's wild caught?

A Russian tort. :D

One cannot know the age of a tort unless one knows hatch date. :(
