This calcium would be fine but buying calcium carbonate from a health food store, for people, is way cheeper and a great supplement.IMHO

Agreed! My guess is that the product you link to is expensive. Human supplements are also regulated by the FDA. Makes me feel better. Cuttlebones are also great to leave in the enclosure in addition to the supplement. I got a great idea on this forum to put the calcium in a salt shaker and it works great! Best wishes.
