Age is irrelevant. What will determine is size. That tortoise is still very small.
I never said I was certain, just that I would bet on it. I am going on experience, nothing more. Get the little one to grow some more and we all will see.

Yeah I understand age has nothing to do with it. Was merely wondering because that's a wee one for 10. But it happens for sure. I had an Pyxis arachnoides arachnoides back in 2007 that was similar. Very small compared to clutch mates.

Well, sexual maturity is based more on size than age.

Also, if you have all males, we can talk. I think I might have all females.

That's reassuring. I recently changed my brygooi habitat to a more wet/damp and hot environment and they have certainly been more active and alert. Other than feeding and the proper environment I'm not sure how else I can get the little one to grow more. It's up to her now.
