May be a strange question: do you recall any vocalizations? Thanks for posting this. Will

Yes, the male was vocalizing with sort of an open mouthed "grunting" sound.
Prior to breeding, the two males also had a little shoving match which I didn't catch on camera.

I have gotten a couple eggs the last two seasons. The first one I wasn't successful hatching and I have one in the incubator now.
This however, is the first time I caught them in the act which was interesting to witness.

I understand the excitement
Last season my couple also mate and got it on film
He mate about a month almost non stop even wenn the female laid her first egg he tried then it was time to separate the Bastard for a day
