Gave Brains a small piece of pumpkin I wanted to see if he could chew through it like that, before a grinded the rest all up... I guess he can eat pumpkin with the rest of the big boys! I sure wouldn't want him to bite my finger

So cute. At first looked like he didn't known what to do with it. Then he started on it like he was pissed. I don't think he will have problems eating it. No grinding it for him.

I always try to find a "soft" pumpkin for my sulcatas but I never do and so they have yet to have had pumpkin. Was that pumpkin fairly firm? I always thought about blending some up into a purée

The pumpkin was firm, I didn't think he'd be able to do it, I just wanted to check before I chopped up the whole thing. The rest of the pumpkin went into my food processor.
