So cute. At first looked like he didn't known what to do with it. Then he started on it like he was pissed. I don't think he will have problems eating it. No grinding it for him.

I always try to find a "soft" pumpkin for my sulcatas but I never do and so they have yet to have had pumpkin. Was that pumpkin fairly firm? I always thought about blending some up into a purée

The pumpkin was firm, I didn't think he'd be able to do it, I just wanted to check before I chopped up the whole thing. The rest of the pumpkin went into my food processor.
