Best caulking/sealant for PVC enclosure

I want to seal my tort's PVC cage and am wondering what product would be best to use. It would have to be non toxic and water resistant, I'm guessing. I heard mould resistant and mildew ones use chemicals so that's unsafe, and that 100% silicone ones don't give the best seal.

I have never tried to make diy pvc enclosures but my buddy is really into this stuff and he uses this (Click here) Its aquarium seal so definitely non toxic and a good seal (y do I know? Duh it’s holds water in lol).

Ive always used GE silicone 1 on all my melamine enclosures with no problems
