Hello! There is a natural food store I go to that has bulk bins of organic sproutable seeds including 12 kinds of beans. Would it be safe to grow these as a part of my edible landscape?

Bean sprouts are perfectly fine as a small part of a varied diet.

Protein is not the enemy that we once thought it was. A little bit is good for our tortoises. I grow alfalfa and feed it to mine occasionally.

Thanks, maybe I'll get a few and start them in a separate flower pot.
