I just gave my baby red foot a bath for the first time. Just wondering how his shell looks.

How long have you had him? Looks like he has some pyramiding. But otherwise his shell is beautiful.

Not over a week. I noticed that too, he's had it since I've gotten him. Im taking him to a vet this month though. Im going to ask him about it

There's no point really asking a vet about it. He doesn't have MVB by the looks of it so there's no health effects, just a bad shell. Keep up the humidity and temps and get her/him onto a good diet.

What a beautiful little baby...and that shell is not a bad shell, with some humidity, sun, exercise and diet the new growth can be smoother...absolutely....:D

When i soak my tortoise, how do I know when its ready to get out?

When they start pacing and trying to get out... Usually I try to soak 20-40 mins, or until they start getting fidgety

I soak mine for 30 minutes or until it has pooped, whichever is longer.
