Or are they like spineless cactus ? which still have some small spines, but we still call them spineless. Do mulberry trees have male and female like ginkgo trees ?

Well, in the spring the tree is covered with little caterpillar-like pods, but they don't develop into any kind of fruit. the tree is 100% fruitless. It's my favorite tree on the property, over 30 years old, and about 50' tall with a wing span of about 40'

Sorry, I don't know if there's a male and a female. I also have about 4 young mulberry trees that do produce fruit. The dog loves the fruit.

Mine are dwarf, suppose to only grow to about 10 feet. I have had them for over three years and they are 100% fruitless.
