Hi all,
Some of you may know I've had some eggs not doing what they are supposed to. I've had 2 laid on the ground hatch and saved one with the use of super glue!
I've had yet another surprise and wanted to share. Virginia, a young gal laid three eggs on Feb. 13. Until today there has been nothing in them. Not a whisper of a blood vessel or embryo. I took a look today and got a heck of a surprise! Not only were their blood vessels but an active embryo!
It amazes me some eggs are like looking through glass and others wait 3 months to show anything! I'm really curious to see how this one hatches (assuming he does, you never know)!
Moral of the story: don't give up on an egg unless in implodes or explodes!
PS: the picture is not the best. I could not get the focus on the blood vessels and the embryo at the same time.
