Hey I put an aloe in my torts enclosure last year and it's really growing I hve it tied up so he can't touch the actual aloe Vera. I was wondering if it's ok for me to untie it and let it out and if the tiny points or spikes on the sideof the aloe are harmful?

According to the Tortoise Table Aloe Vera is fine to feed in moderation, but can have a laxative effect if eaten in excess.

Torts seem to cope with prickles on most things far better than us, so I wouldn't be concerned.
