Age of russian

Hi does anyone know how u can tell the age of a Russian tortoise thanks

What is the size of your tort and where did you obtain the tort from?

Can't tell the age of a tortoise. Size matters. How big is it?

Her shell is 3 inch and I bought her from pet shop the man who worked there said she was 1 but he didn't seem to know what he was on about he told me to use alfalfa pellets and use a vivarium

Impossible to know for sure unless you know when the tortoise hatched but I would say your tortoise is probably 2-3 years old.
