Hello all, my name is Josh Ellis. My fiancee, Katie, and I currently have 5 leopard tortoises (2 at 3 years old, and 3 at 2 years old... confused yet?), 8 Scottish Highland cows, 6 horses, and 6 dogs. We live south-east of Dallas on approximately 15 acres. I work as a Network Administrator for a medium-to-large Oil and Gas company and Katie is a Banker.
Between the both of us we have roughly 4 years of tortoise experience (and by no means are we experts!) and, combined, we have over 25 years of reptile experience in general. We both began keeping reptiles at a young age, and we both started with Leopard Geckos. Throughout the years we have had several different species of gekkonidae, lizards, snakes, amphibians, etc.
We are both excited about contributing to this forum in any way we can. Be forewarned, I am a closet photography-nut. Which reminds me, I need to take some pictures of our Torts...
