Hello! I have just started doing some research in hopes of adopting a tortoise with my fiancee this Christmas. We live in south Florida (south of Miami) and have been looking at redfoots as our first tortoise since we would like to be able to keep him/her outside and they seen to be good with the high humidity we experience here.
We both really like the look of the cherry head redfoots.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself as I'll probably be asking questions in the coming future.

Florida is a wonderful place for tortoises and you can not go wrong with a redfooted/cherryhead. We have several breeders of those on the forum. Folks like Allegra who have the most beautiful cherryheads you will ever see (in my humble opinion).
