Poor babies! The previous owner must have felt so bad when she/he found out everything people told her/him was wrong. I've been in there, but luckily I was only misinformed for less than a week and was able to immediately fix my mistakes before they caused any harm. And obviously they tried so very hard! :(
Curiosity speaking here; what can be done about MBD? I don't think it's reversible, but is it? Or can it be gotten rid of so it doesn't get worse, even if the damage is already done, kind of like how pyramiding cannot be reversed but it can be stopped?
If I lived closer I would give the boxie a good home in an outside enclosure and a kiddy pool to wade in a couple times a week.

The actual thin bones and shell can be corrected, however the misshapen looks will never go away.

this is a very old thread. The animals have been placed.
