Thank you for your suggestions. I am getting most things right (water temp, very large washing up bowl and water level) but will try first thing in the morning. It has actually been very hot here the past few days but today has been a bit cooler so will get to them first thing in the morning...
Ahhh no wonder I was getting nowhere Googling for blue poo.......Yes I would agree, one patch of urine did look dark yesterday.
These tortoises are relatively new to me after they were left in villa I took them on. I soak them every day but not for very long as they seem to hate it. They try...
So sorry but I have googled this and getting no answers. I am not sure which tortoise produced this but as you can see in the pictures it is blue in colour. I have looked for anything that may have caused this in their enclosed area but can see nothing. They have been eating hibiscus leaves...
Yes, thank you. Have moved on a bit since that pic. They are getting hibiscus leaves and flowers, a little turnip, having trouble getting 'greens' here so trying to identify plants. I believe prickly pear is ok. It is a learning curve at the moment
Thank you. I was thinking the same but never had tortoises before. I am based in Morocco and only took these two on recently as they were left in a villa. They have a whole terrace but I limit them with a barrier if people are coming for their safety. There has been some butting by Daphnie but...

Thanks

I have a number of questions.
1. I need to identify, I thought they were female, spur thigh tortoises but someone in the introduction forum...
Hi there, thanks for the advice, I have read the Beginners Guide and seem to be slipping up all over the place! Firstly, not by choice, inheriting two..... I shall monitor behaviour. The terrace is completely enclosed but I think I will get a barrier made which I can put into place to contain...

Hello all, I live in South Morocco and have recently acquired two tortoises which were left in a villa. I found this forum while trying to get more information and I believe they are spur thigh tortoises...
