I have two adult female eastern box turtles. They live in a fairly large enclosure and have access to bugs and plants and stuff but I am just wondering how often I should feed.

I have two eastern box turtles that have been hibernating all winter. It has been in the seventies for five days now an they haven't come up yet. Should I be worried.

I heard people talking about them but never knew what they mean't.

So I brought this up on another thread but I didn't want to thread jack. So Any one who has ever owned or bred spotteds I would love to see some pictures of your setups.

So I have been reading all of the care sheets on spotted turtles and they all talk about how they are fairly prone to health issues. I know that they should have more acidic water does that normally take care of any health problems.

So I am wanting to redo my eastern box turtle enclosure because these weeds have taken over. So I am going to pull all of them up and re plant the enclosure. My question is how can I keep the weeds from coming up so quickly again.

I read somewhere that I can feed my box turtle trout chow s that true.

I was just wondering what the best commercial food is for my two girls. I want to make sure they are getting proper nutrition.

So a couple if months ago I built a concrete pond for my two easterns. Unfortunately It does not hold much water so my question is can I get a small pond mold and fill it with aquatic plants. I just can't use a filter so I was wondering if the plants would work as one.
