Hate having to go all over the forum for pics of different types of torts. So everyone please post pics of your torts. I'll start. Little side note those people out there who have massive herds of torts just try to post a few pics with as many torts in each.

I don't know why everyone likes the idea of a closed enclosure. I keep an average of 60 to 70% humidity with my open enclosure. It is at ground level that might change something. But I don't even mist. I use 60% organic soil and 40% timothy hay. Its not even that wet.

I'm about to leave for Iowa so my mom gets to take care of my tort. So to make it easier in her I move my tort to a smaller enclosure in the living room so she wouldn't have to go into my room. So I wanted to ask if this enclosure is good for a week of living. Also someone please tell me that...

I'm so very mad. I'm going through old websites that I used to use as models of how to take care of a tort and they are all riddled with bad information like all uv lights are useless, no matter what size the enclosure it's extremely cruel to keep a tortoise in one that's not outside in open air...

First I did not know where to put this so I put it under debatable. Now the question. Why is there so much misinformation about tortoise care even though there are so many tortoises out there. And as evidence by this forum, so many knowledgeable people.

I've gone all over the Internet and the forum and everyone says something different. Is it good to hold your tortoise. I would like to know for all tortoise age groups from hatchling to adult.
