Couple things. What is the grass seed mix I should get for leopards? And where can I get it. What are good greens to buy from the grocery store if your worried about the calcium status of a hatchling? I have a Leo hatchling who is a replacement for a HFS baby... And he was going gang busters...

I was using those and switched to the tube 10.0 T5 bulbs... It was an expense because you should use the special good with that bulb but I have already noticed a difference in my Leos' growth.... Could be coincidence I guess but they didn't seem to grow much until I got the new stuff.

I try to pay for the someone in line once a year. It makes you feel so good to do a good thing totally unprompted. I would like to think that it's for someone having a hard time or about to have a tough day... And it might make them inclined to do something nice for someone else.

I had to deworm my Leo's because of a huge worm burden... All young torts and failed to gain weight despite appetite. Checked a fecal sample... Wall to wall pins...dewormed with panacur (which was not easy) and they are going gangbusters.... I owe a lot of thanks to the wisdom of the people on...

I'm sorry to hear he's not doing so hot. I had a Leo hatchling that had growth rings that popped up above the original scutes like that... A tort vet said that was indicative of septicemia so we did antibiotics and force feeding. All my fingers and toes are crossed for Tiny Tim to pull...

So I've never had a hatchling before my experience with Leo's. My older two can easily retract into their shells if I get on their nerves ... But my hatchling cant really get out of site. I haven't measured it but I'm almost positive he eats more than anyone else and will often poo during BOTH...

There is one at Omaha zoo (I think it was a red... Could have been a yellow bc I didn't see it up close) ... That looked pretty big. They are pretty awesome! [hr] Sorry nerd! That's what I get for reading threads while half asleep
