* We originally seeded with simple pasture grass seed (mixed blend) from the local feed store. Other than irrigation, just natural weeds and grass!

* We usually feed Mazuri during our egg laying season which coincides with our dry and non rainy season.

Greg, for sure both the bag and the pellets are different. Can't recall what the bag difference is (but it would have to because its a different product - right?). Still comes in 25 lbs. The pellets are much smaller and seem more fibrous. And, do not soak up as much water. Probably all good things. Of course, it's 40% more expensive. Not a big deal with a 10lb tort, but when each tort eats a 1/2 bag in one sitting! Oh my!

Love your pictures, the Aldabra set up is awesome. My daughter has two that she sort of rescued as she did not like the conditions the were in, I have so many questions I would like to ask you but my time left over here is down to 18 days left, I will try to get my daughter to put up some pic as the torts have issues from there not to good a life,I have been doing a lot of reading on her to help her provide the best life for them. We have a female called Zoe she is about 17 years old and Vegas and he is about 11 years and the smaller one of the two. I am trying to post pics for you to see as they have problems with there shells as you can see at some time they have had injuries. Would appreciate all the help you can give as we would like to make things really good for the rest of there life. Thanks.
