How about legit (hope I spelled it right). She isn't afraid to take on anybody, but is pretty fair usually.

If the person concerned is of HARSH nature, it would be so, so easy to be 'the bad guy.'These all seem like good nominations! What a tough choice for Josh! I haven't been around all that long, but it seems like the moderators have a fairly tough job. It is always hard to have to "be the bad guy" now and then. Best of luck to everyone nominated!
This is very true. I feel "harshness" often arises out of passion....a quality that sometimes gleams just below the surface of some posts. If the person concerned is of HARSH nature, it would be so, so easy to be 'the bad guy.'
Whatever the reason, there is no need whatsoever for it.This is very true. I feel "harshness" often arises out of passion....a quality that sometimes gleams just below the surface of some posts.
Thank you very much Jacqui, but I don't think I could do such a good job as the rest of you mods.I think you would be good and please rethink (and read the reasons above about Steven)
Come on Lyn, please change you mind.Thank you very much Jacqui, but I don't think I could do such a good job as the rest of you mods.
I love learning from, contributing to and promoting the forum by letting as many people as possible know about it,
but I would not be the best choice at the moment.
Thank you very much for the nomination Yvonne, John, Ed and Gillian, I feel honoured that you think so highly of me, but I have only had a tort for just over a year and most of my advice is based on repeating parrot fashion what I have learnt and still am learning from many more experienced folk here.
Also with full time teaching I'm not able to spend as much time as I would like on the forum and sometimes have to ban myself to make time for my work! So sadly I will not be able to accept the nomination.
There are many worthy people here that would be great for the job, but I think that as there are many UK and European members, it would be very useful to have a moderator in a different time zone to the US, which is why I think Adam (@Tidgy's Dad) would be a good choice. He is very diplomatic but straight and has time.
Good luck to all nominees!
I love Tom, however, there are quite a few people who harbor resentments towards him, and he really doesn't know how to be diplomatic in certain instances. (Sorry Tom)

I love Will, but I love him because he tells it like it is, at least in his view. He has no problem correcting me, or anyone else, when we are wrong. He has succinctly put me in my place more than once and I appreciate and respect him for it. I love his candor, his humor, and I would not want him to be restrained in any way. If he were a moderator, he would have to "behave" more, and I fear that a well-behaved version of Will and his commentary would not be nearly as much fun.
I'm sorry Pete, but I wish to un-nominate your nominee.
Perhaps I am different then most in that matter.
And I said the same thing last night !~ I second that nomination!
