I think just by standing or sit near them is the best calming experience you'll ever get..right??
we just lost in time wondering, what have they been through and how many loving owners they already passed?? interesting..:)

Does that show from the beginning as a juvenile, those kind of behaviors?

~ Many variables. We usually have a good idea on the majority of our yearlings as to if they are male or female based on much observations, etc. Usually it is clear and obvious, however sometimes we have been truly unsure. This little guy was for sure a young male, no doubt!

I noticed also the way they fold the tail, one is to the left one is to the right?
You must have seen this too, right? I wonder whether this is an easier way of telling their sexes?

~ Not value to sexing them by which way they hold their tail!

~ Tail size can be a factor, however not at the age of your!

Today was a great day, Norma was hand fed her last meal in segregation form her eye surgery. She has been segregated for three months for recovery and healing. Today she was released back into our breeding population and she seemed very happy. She ate wild fresh grass and weeds for several hours as we monitored and photographed her first few hours. She seems to have adjusted fantastically with only one eye.
