personally i would go with the .045 epdm , it's pretty durable stuff ...... 14 mil is pretty thin ......

That 1st one is more than double the thickness of the second one

45mils thick vs 20mils

I wouldn't even use 20mil if it was just for fish

Definitely the 45 mil EPDM. I've used that for a 3000 gal temporary pond I had to use for a year until I finished my big pond. It works great and the largest of turtles cannot puncture it.

Ok thanks everyone! A few extra bucks for a good liner is probably a lot less stressful than having to fix a cheaper liner down the line anyways.

Firestone sells one Hell of a nice pond liner.
Expensive. Heavy and worth every cent.

I've used....And replaced several.
The Firestone markets itself as being a "permanent" liner. While that may be a stretch....It is certainly tough and U.V. resistant.
I love mine
