out of those 3 I would say che which is what quite a few members have been recommending

Depends on the wattage of the bulb, too. CHE's are very good for providing heat, w/o any light. Make sure you have a fixture with a ceramic base that can handle the wattage of the bulb you pick.

Depend's and the wattage. For night heat I use a black bulb (75 Watt) and a ZooMed under tank heater.

I'm a supporter of CHE's because they can provide nice heat 24/7, don't produce night-time light pollution for sleeping tortoises, and generally outlast incandescent heating bulbs by a long shot (2-5+ years of use).
