I want a turtle that will not get over 6 inches and I can keep in a 20 gallon. Is there any others other than a mud or musk turtle that could live happily in there? :)

Musk and muds are your best bet even then I recommend more room, a 20 gallon tank is small, 40 would be better.

20 gallon is very small for a permanent enclosure. If you'd go to a 40 breeder, your choices would really open up. 3-striped muds (and some of the other smaller muds), stinkpots, stripenecks, loggerheads, southern painted, and male maps (texas, cagle's, black-knobbed) would all be choices for a 40-B.

i have a resin sulcata replica you can keep in their.... noo but really, 20 gallons is a good tank to start a tiny baby in but anything near 6 inches will need alot more space. also remember, i think its petco that has the the 1 dollar pergallon tank sales, so if you need somthing bigger look their.
