I've never had Rad babies, but with my other species it's always been a crap shoot. Doesn't matter what the parents look like, the babies come out looking different.

Do you find the pattern at all genetic? I know with my spotted turtles high spot parents produce high spot babies. I do breed for that. Does it work at all with rads or stars?

There is a lot of guess work. You have to try different males with certain females and see how the color goes. Unrelated Dams and Sires help. These 2 could have really nice offspring or good ones. Either way, only good things. The idea of keeping 1 male with 1 female only, can yield zero offspring. Currently I have 3 males and 4 females.
