Man, you really screwed up. :p In order to correctly care for him you need to know exactly what species he is. Your pictures aren't good enough for me to tell. Can you take some better pix? Mostly of the carapace and face, thanks

It is a Middle Eastern Greek tortoise, probably Testudo gracea gracea. The photos are a bit dark and grainy to tell for certain.

Golden Greeks are not a species or subspecies unto themselves. The term Golden Greek is a common name used to describe just about every Middle Eastern or North African Greek that has little or no dark coloration on it's carapace. This could include about a half dozen subspecies. Generally "Golden" Greeks are from similar environmental regions so their care in captivity would be similar.

Sorry about the last time I posted. I guess my pictures didn't come out so well. So I took new pics from my new phone.

Hi ilkjd06:

I think that Maggie3fan meant you screwed up by forgetting what kind of tortoise you bought.

Won't you take a few moments to start a new thread in the "introductions" section and tell us a bit about yourself? That way we can offer you a correct welcome to the forum!
