Hi everyone, I have tried everything in my power to identify this on the web, it's growing around my yard right now (upstate NY, USA...cool weather) all of my common clovers are dead but this one is pretty vibrant, and if it happens to be a readily available and nutritious snack for Cherry, I'd love to know! Hopefully someone knows what it is, in the meantime of course I won't let her have any. Thanks!!!

That's not ground ivy. Ground ivy has little purple snap dragon-like flowers and single leaves. I'd have to see your plant growing in order to know for sure, but it looks a lot like crane's bill or fillaree.
