Hi friends,My name is saba and I have two star torts which I rescued from my uncles farm. They aree healthy as said by a vet.My only concern is what calcium supplement to be provided.I give them cucumber, ladyfinger, dhaniya, parsley, and hibiscus flower and leaves in mix salad form and they enjoy a lot.In my flat we don't get early morning sunlight so I normally put him in sun after 2pm.When doing so their poop becomes whitish. If not placed in sun its normal vegetable form. What should I do to get enough calcium.

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

Here's a list of vegetables high in calcium:

Collard greens, kale, turnip greens, arugula, water cress, mustard greens, pak choi, okra, endive, butternut squash, broccoli, brussels sprouts, sweet potato, etc. You can also buy powdered calcium and sprinkle a pinch (a tiny amount) over the food two or three times a week. If you don't have a pet store where you live, you can buy it online.
