Vet Recommendation - Santa Clarita

Hello, I know that there are a few of you that live or have lived in the Santa Clarita Valley. My Russian tortoise seems to have one leg that is swollen. Does anyone have vet that they can recommend from personal experience? I saw that there is one in Canyon Country but when I visited that vet years ago, I was unimpressed. I am willing to drive if necessary.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

I recommend Dr. Franco at Studio City Animal Hospital. (818) 769-1338. A little drive, but not too bad.

I cannot actually recommend a reptile vet here where I live,

Everyone comes to me, but I'm not a vet, but I do everything under the supervision of a vet, even if I have to tell them the problem and how to treat it..LOL

Wow, what a can of worms opens when you look online for vet references. It seems like they are either 5 star THIS VET SAVED MY PETS LIFE!! or 1 Star THIS VET KILLED MY PET! I am still trying to decide what to do. I may go tomorrow to a Studio City. They say they have 4 reptile vets!

I can only recommend Dr. Franco, she is the only one I have seen there....
