Hi all,

Our little guy Little Foot at the moment is growing fast and thriving. He currently lives a combo of inside and outside living. With predominantly in his indoor tank and then going outside for periods of time when it’s not too cold or too hot. We currently live in California and are aware that in the coming months the weather is likely not going to be ideal.
Hence looking at uv lamps.
I’ve heard good things about reptisun by zoo med bulbs. We are looking at the bar lights as we’ve heard these are better?

Im looking for some advice from you all.

Should the light bar be positioned above the whole enclosure or just part of it? What wattage is best for our little dude? And how many hours of the day is optimal for it to be on? And how do we measure if he’s getting what he needs?

Attached is a picture of our not so little guy anymore.

Sorry if these are repeat questions I tried to find the answers but couldn’t find them!

Thank you so much for all your help!
