Ultrasonic mouse deterrent

Hi! We have a young (had “him” since October, juvenile) red foot currently in an indoor enclosure. I saw a mouse in our kitchen last night. I was wondering if anyone knew if those ultrasonic pest deterrents were ok around tortoises? Thank you!

Have no idea if they would bother a tortoise, don't think so. However, those things did nothing for me when I had a mouse problem in the tortoise shed.

They seem like modern day "Snake oil". They're also sold as Roach and insect repellents
