Hi, sorry if this has been answered before but i can't find a jackson scale for juvenile torts.
I have two juvenile hermanns called PeanutButter and Jelly. We used to keep these two together (controversial i know!) but we have recently separated them as we noticed Jelly getting noticeably bigger.
So to my question. Are my tortoise weight to SCL ratios good for almost exactly 1 year old torts?

PeanutButter = 120g x 83mm
Jelly = 157g x 86mm

They are siblings born on the same day.
Thanks in advance!

I've already looked on that article and the scale doesn't go down low enough for juveniles.

I basically just want to know if either of my torts are over or underweight

More importantly at that size - which is tiny - are they steadily gaining weight?

That's because it doesn't apply to tortoises that small - there is not likely a meaningful ratio that does. Increasing weight is really what you're after at this stage.

Awesome... yer they're both gaining one more than the other I'll continue weighing n measuring each month until they get bigger before worrying about the scale
