Even though we were sad to leave Cody for a couple of days we weren't having any tortoise withdrawals because of these two beauties.
We met this little guy/gal while we were vacationing up in Silver Springs in Ocala. It was just cruisin' along eating some weeds. It let us get really close too. I think it's a gopher tortoise!

Thanks Danny, we were shocked to come upon the wild tortoise, it was within 5 minutes of pulling into the park. Really neat!
