Tortoise: male or female?

Hey, I've had my tortoise, Coconut, for just over 2 years and he is roughly 4 to 5 years old now. I was just wondering if anyone could tell his sex from these photos? Up until now we have called him a boy but we're really not sure. His tail in the past year has grown significantly which leads me to think that he is a boy, but I would really like a second opinion. Thanks xx

Thank you. I feel he looks like the young male photo but could also be young female. Although he usually walks with his tail off to side like in the mature male photo- I purposely pushed his tail to the middle for this photo, he almost always has it sitting at the side.
