• Red multileaf lettuce

Lettuce and other grocery store greens are not good tortoise foods. They lack calcium, fiber and nutritional value. Your sulcata should be eating grass, weeds, leaves, flowers, and opuntia pads. As an adult, hay will be great if you don't have enough real grass.

If you must use grocery store foods for part of the year, they need to be amended with any number of items to make them more suitable as tortoise foods. More on that in the food section here:

Calcium interferes with the absorption of other important nutrients and trace elements. It should only be given a couple of time per week in most cases.
