Tort table

Earlier this week I posted a topic stressing about what to do about my tort. Now I'm looking into building a tort table. I've never ever built anything from scratch and was wondering if anyone or anywhere on here had a step by step guide on how to build one. I have no idea where to start.

Any links or suggestions are welcomed.

I've attached a picture of his outdoor enclosure. This was taken last year and has changed a lot but he loved it. Now he's going to be mainly indoors and my same format obviously won't work anymore.

It is much easier to maintain proper temps and humidity in something like this. Open tables are usually going to be pretty dry inside a typical house.

My tortoise is 4 years old.
This picture was taken in early September of this year.

What would be an appropriate size table...but reasonable size?
