It doesn't snow here. Well, it did once 8 yrs ago for about 30 mins. Lol.
The coldest it gets is low 30's and that is very rare. Like maybe 2-3 days in early February. Normally our average winter say is 50-60s.

It definitely makes the Tort keeping easy! Except that our summers are crazy hot and humid.

The lowest we can get is 40 F, and that would be an extremely cold day, 50-53 F would be a good Minimum temprature average for January

Could you grow them indoors? (the petunias)

Not very successfully I'm afraid , they might just about hang on in a light window, but I still think they need a lot of sunlight.

HA! I'll post a picture for you when the snow is 4 feet deep and it's -2 out.
