Why are the Bloors members of TFO? I want to know about their tortoise collection and see photos of that huge herd.

Maybe they are on Shelled Warriors.

This story should give pause to all you meanny anti-anthropomorphists (Gary!--I haven't forgotten). ;)

What a nice Hermanns. I have a black Testudo ibera male that will fight anything put in his enclosure, even his own hatchling children. Some male ibera will relent after they've chased away their contenders; some will reserve their violence during certain seasons. Not Graeculus. I've even placed a marble tortoise replica in the enclosure with him, and he won't hesitate to attack it, then rigorously hump it when he feels it has had enough. I placed him in an enclosure with his two year old son, warming them following their hibernation. He wasn't out of the fridge for more than twenty minutes when he raised himself to go strike his recently emerged son. He's the biggest jerk I've ever met from the tortoise world, and I adore him.
