The Tortoise Home has a handful of Turtles/Tortoises for adoption. We will not ship any turtles or tortoises except Snappers.

20+ Red Ear Slider turtles ( Small to Adults ) - Must have a pond that is fenced off to keep from wondering off. We will not adopt to open ponds.

3ea Common Snapping Turtles ( 10-14" ) plastron lengths. - Must be in a state that is approved to keep. No California Adoptions. Interested parties will be responsible for all cost to ship.

Southern Painted Turtle - 6" Female

5ea Russian Tortoise Males - 4-6" .

6ea California Desert Tortoises - Hatchlings to 10" adults

2ea Sulcata Tortoises - 60-70lb Male Sulcatas

9ea Florida Soft shells - juveniles

We do not charge adoption fees so we are very particular where we adopt out. We don't just adopt out to the first person who responds. All homes must have a setup ready to go. We reserve the right to do home visits or have a representative do a home visit to verify that the adoptee has the correct home. Hi Kevin,

I just sent a message through your website. I am in need of re homing my Russian Tortoise. I am looking for a good home with someone that knows how to take care of a tortoise and what to expect in the future. Our tort has only been in an indoor enclosure and rarely goes outside.
